Sheffield Steelers booked their place in the Elite League final with a 3-2 win over Hull Stingrays this evening.
Mathieu Roy scored on the powerplay with just 3.8 seconds remaining in a thrilling match at the National Ice Arena in Nottingham.
Eric Galbraith put Hull ahead in the middle of the second period before Darrell Hay and Colton Fretter gave Sheffield the lead within six minutes.
Cory Tanaka levelled the scoreline with 11:20 remaining before Roy's dramatic powerplay goal completed the victory for Sheffield.
The Steelers finished top of the Elite League standings in the regular season and will play Belfast Giants or Coventry Blaze in the final tomorrow.
