France's Lucie Decosse has won gold in the women's -70kg judo.
Decosse dominated the encounter against German Kerstin Thiele and nearly secured gold with a takedown early in the contest.
Thiele made the count by one second but Decosse remained in control to ease to the gold medal.
Colombia's Yuri Alvear won the first bronze medal after she scored with a waza-ari and a yuko against China's Fei Chen.
The match for the second bronze medal between the Netherlands' Edith Bosch and South Korea's Ye-Sul Hwang was decided by the judges in favour of Bosch.
