Inna Cherniak has defeated Sabina Abdullayeva of Azerbaijan to win gold for Ukraine in the women's visually impaired -57kg judo event at the European Games.
Cherniak clinched first by winning the final 100-1 to upset the home fans as the local favourite fell at the final hurdle in the Heydar Aliyev Arena.
It was a double success for Ukraine of sorts, after Nataliya Nikolaychyk and Germany's Ramona Brussig both scooped bronze after losing their respective semi-finals.
