Aprilia rider Marco Melandri has admitted that he feels "self-conscious" on the bike after returning to MotoGP following a four-year stint in World Superbikes.
After three days of pre-season testing in Jerez, Melandri has admitted that he is yet to feel completely comfortable on the bike.
"These were three interesting and very demanding days at the same time," crash.net quotes Melandri as saying.
"Lap after lap I am figuring out more and more where I need to improve and what I need in order to feel at ease. I still feel quite self-conscious. I think we'll need to put in a few kilometres to find the right feeling."
Melandri previously represented the team on a Honda for two years from 2005, as well as in 2010.
