Barcelona star Neymar has become the latest famous figure to take on the ice bucket challenge for charity after being nominated by Brazil teammate Marcelo.

A wave of celebrities have been drenched in ice cold water in the last few days after Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo accepted the challenge.

Neymar uploaded a video on his Instagram page taking on the challenge before nominating One Direction singer Niall Horan, Robinho and defender Juan Zuniga.

The Colombian was responsible for Neymar's fractured spine, which forced him out of the World Cup in Brazil.
