Bayern Munich opted to poke fun at West Bromwich Albion's tweet about Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini during last night's 7-1 rout over Roma.
On Monday night, West Brom were left red faced when Fellaini scored an equaliser against the Baggies at The Hawthorns a matter of minutes after the club's official Twitter page wrote: "Fellaini has now taken his tracksuit off, fortunately he has a Man Utd strip on underneath."
During Bayern's record-breaking victory over Group E opponents Roma in Italy last night, the German champions decided to mimic West Brom's tweet prior to Franck Ribery's introduction from the bench.
They wrote: "Sub coming up: #Ribery has taken off his tracksuit, fortunately he has an #FCBayern strip on underneath. #ASRFCB 'FCBayernLive'."
Like Fellaini, Ribery found the back of the net after coming on as a substitute.
