Bookmakers' William Hill were forced to pay out £250,000 to gamblers when Arjen Robben netted the winner for Bayern Munich in the Champions League final.
The clash at Wembley looked likely to move into extra time with the scoreline at 1-1, but Borussia Dortmund's hopes were dashed when the former Chelsea player scored with minutes to go to award Bayern the trophy.
"Bayern have been the best-backed side in the Champions League all season," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "This is a huge result for the punters."
The bookies had even money on the Bundesliga champions winning the clash.
