Portuguese legend Luis Figo has seemingly been following the FA Cup third-round clash between Blyth Spartans and Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon.
As the Evostik Northern Premier club threatened a shock against the Blues, the former Barcelona and Real Madrid winger started following the non-league club on Twitter.
Figo has over one million followers on the social media website but Blyth became only the 435th account to be followed by the 42-year-old.
A double from Robert Dale had given Blyth a 2-0 lead at half time before three goals in six second-half minutes saw the Championship team prevail 3-2 in the North-East.
