Bordeaux reportedly tried to boost attendance at their Europa League matches by giving away free tickets to fast-food customers.
The French outfit are said to have come up with the plan following poor fan figures of 7,329 at their previous match against Maccabi Tel Aviv.
To improve attendance for last night's home clash against APOEL Nicosia, the club gave a ticket to every customer that bought an extra large meal at fast-food restaurant Quick, according to the Daily Mail.
Bordeaux managed to secure a 2-1 win over APOEL in last night's encounter.
