Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski will reportedly not face any action after an assault accusation by a teenager was dropped.

A 17-year-old complained to German police claiming that the Poland international had punched him in the forehead after he raised his middle finger at the footballer in his car.

Following the incident, Lewandowski denied striking the youngster, but insisted that he will "not allow" his family or himself to be offended.

The authorities launched an investigation, but the teenager has now withdrawn his accusation, according to the Daily Mail.

The 25-year-old has sparked discontent among Dortmund fans after agreeing to join Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
