Supporters of Brazil and Argentina reportedly clashed in Belo Horizonte ahead of La Albiceleste's match with Iran earlier today.
Fights are said to have broken out in the early hours of the morning with fans throwing glass bottles at each other, before around 2,000 military policemen diffused the situation.
Security forces' spokesperson, Gilmar Luciano, stated in a report on Marca that roughly 4,000 fans had been in the city's Bohemian neighbourhood when the incident took place.
The same report claims that one Brazilian was arrested, while there were no serious injuries.
