Guernsey Police have revealed that they are prioritising a search for a life raft in the hope that missing Cardiff City striker Emiliano Sala and his pilot escaped any plane wreckage.
Sala was on board the small aircraft which went missing over the English channel at around 8.30pm on Monday whilst travelling from Nantes.
Rescuers have begun another day of searching and the police have now confirmed that their efforts are focused on four possibilities.
Sala was en route to join up with his new teammates after a club-record £15m deal to join Cardiff.
