The American broadcaster, who aired the Premier League clash between the 2014 Sochi Games coverage, announced that an average of 1.2 million viewers tuned in to watch the match.
The all-time record viewing audience in the United States for a top-flight game was 1.67m, which was contested between Chelsea and Liverpool in 2011 and was shown live on FOX Sports.
The local derby finished 3-0 to Swansea.
