Shakhter Karagandy coach Viktor Kumykov has suggested that the club will once again sacrifice a sheep as part of their pre-match ritual.
The club sparked controversy and outrage from animal rights group PETA when they slaughtered a sheep to bring good fortune ahead of their 2-0 win over Celtic in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier last week.
Following the ritual, UEFA president Michel Platini wrote a letter to the club condemning their actions.
However, Kumykov has claimed that he and the rest of the team need to respect Karagandy's traditions.
