England Under-21s will play Austria at Stadium MK in a Euro 2021 qualifier in October.
The Young Lions will take on Werner Gregoritsch's side in Milton Keynes on Tuesday, October 15.
The Under-21s last played in Milton Keynes in 2013, when Saido Berahino's brace and Michael Keane's goal earned them a 3-0 win over Finland.
MK Dons chairman Pete Winkelman said: "We are thrilled to be welcoming the Young Lions back to Milton Keynes this October – the perfect way to kick-off the celebrations of Milton Keynes as a European City of Sport for 2020.
"This match will add to the long list of special events we have had the pleasure of hosting here at Stadium MK, while it will provide a fantastic opportunity for the people of Milton Keynes to see the young stars of the future in action on their doorstep."
England will start their qualifying campaign against Turkey in Sakarya in September before playing Kosovo in Hull. They also face Albania and Andorra in Group Three.
Aidy Boothroyd's side failed to get out of their Euro 2019 finals group in Italy and San Marino last month.
They were knocked out following defeats lost to France and Romania before a 3-3 draw with Croatia in their final game.
