The Welsh Office is to fly the national flag of England to show support ahead of Thursday night's World Cup meeting with Belgium.
The Three Lions face a shootout for top spot with Belgium in Group G, having already made certain of a place in the last 16 with wins over Tunisia and Panama.
Following Prime Minister Theresa May's call for the St George's Cross to be hoisted above Parliament, the Welsh Office will now follow suit in a move that could anger some.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Office is quoted by Wales Online as saying: "The PM made it clear she's getting behind the England team and as a Union we are happy to support that."
The Scottish Office is also expected to fly the England flag ahead of tonight's game in Kaliningrad.
