Leeds United forward El Hadji Diouf was reportedly beaten up in the toilets of a bar in his homeland of Senegal.
The 32-year-old, who is no stranger to controversial incidents on the pitch, is thought to have got involved in a war of words with fellow drinkers at beach bar Five in Almadies.
Local newspaper Le Populaire claimed that the former Blackburn Rovers player was followed into the restrooms by a man and his friend, who beat him up for "at least 10 minutes", according to The Sun.
Diouf is thought to have been with his wife at the bar.
