Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has no regrets over taking the club on a post-season trip to Myanmar and is not concerned by the political situation in the nation.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has reiterated that he is happy to have taken the club on a post-season trip to Myanmar and is not concerned by the political situation in the nation.

The tour, which has divided opinion due to the treatment of the country's Rohingya Muslim minority, has been described as "morally corrupt" and "deeply inappropriate" by a number of politicians.

United began their tour on Wednesday, losing 2-1 to the hosts' National League All Stars in Yangon, and Radrizzani has once again defended the club's decision to make the trip.

"I'm not interested in playing politics," the Italian told BBC Sport at full time. "I'm honest with myself and I'm honest to everyone that we are not doing anything bad.

"I think the majority of Leeds United fans understand that and are supportive of the project. A few making noise on Twitter cannot change the majority of those who are silent.

"I'm not a politician. Those who raise this issue should take care of this problem, not me. We are just here to play football and hopefully bring some joy to the fans who came here to watch this friendly game."

Leeds complete their two-match tour against the Myanmar national team in Mandalay on Friday.
