Former England manager Steve McClaren is reportedly on the lookout for a football club to purchase as part of the next chapter of his career.
The 56-year-old, who was most recently at Maccabi Tel Aviv in a coaching capacity last season, is said to be fronting a group of investors seeking a team to buy.
According to The Sun, the ex-Middlesbrough and Newcastle United boss has been scouting for suitable options for the past few months.
McClaren was recently spotted attending a game at Leeds United and is understood to be looking closely at Championship outfits.
The same report indicates that McClaren is after an upstairs role at the club he plays a part in purchasing, having seemingly turned his back on management for now.
