Leicester City striker Andrej Kramaric recently teamed up with a number of sports stars to call an end to domestic violence against women.
Local campaign How Many Times, which aims to increase reporting of domestic and sexual violence in the area, gathered members from the sporting world to back the message on International Women's Day.
Kramaric represented Leicester City FC, while rugby player Ed Milne took part on behalf of Leicester Tigers, and Ollie Freckingham of Leicestershire County Cricket Club was also included.
Members of the Leicester Riders Basketball Club and players of the Leicester University Women's Rugby squad also gave their backing to the campaign.
Leicester City club ambassador Alan Birchenall said: "To see so many people come out and support this campaign is fantastic, and hopefully, it'll go a long way in helping to stop domestic and sexual violence. I think they have a duty as sportsmen and women to make a stand against violence because people look up to them as role models."
The campaign runs across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
