Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will be handed an honorary degree at the University of Ulster this afternoon for his contribution to sport.
The former Swansea City boss, who was born in County Antrim, will receive the honour after guiding the Reds to second in the Premier League last season, just two points behind champions Manchester City.
The club's official website has confirmed that Rodgers will attend a ceremony at the university this afternoon alongside 12 other individuals from the worlds of entertainment, business, public life and sport.
The 41-year-old has witnessed his team secure 54 victories in 97 matches since he took over from Kenny Dalglish at Anfield in 2012.
