England captain Steven Gerrard decided to hand his shirt to Newcastle United's Ryan Taylor after helping the Three Lions reach the World Cup.
The 33-year-old scored the winner following Wayne Rooney's first-half goal in last night's victory over Poland at Wembley.
Instead of handing his match shirt to a Polish opponent, Gerrard gave his number four top to injured Taylor, who was at Wembley to watch the game.
Taylor posted a photo on Instagram with the message: "Nice touch from the skipper to give me this after the game last night. #hero"
