CSKA Moscow reportedly refused to provide meals for Manchester City's players a fortnight ago following the clubs' dispute last season.
The Premier League champions previously complained that midfielder Yaya Toure was racially abused by the Russian fans, and it appears that the two clubs are yet to resolve their issues.
According to the Daily Mail, CSKA failed to provide hot food for the visiting City side to snack on after their Champions League 2-2 draw last month, which was played behind closed doors at the Arena Khimki due to a UEFA ban.
CSKA have travelled to the North-West of England this week for tonight's reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium.
