Manchester United fans have been forced to find new flights to Portugal next month as a result of the RyanAir cancellation chaos.
The airline has sparked outrage by announcing that 40 to 50 flights per day have been axed for a six-week period as they attempt to satisfy pilots' annual leave requests and meet their flight-punctuality targets by the end of the year.
According to The Sun, among the routes to have been cancelled is London to Lisbon - with many United fans having already booked flights for the Champions League clash with Benfica on October 18.
Twitter has been inundated with messages from angry supporters, with one tweeting: "Fucking Ryanair cancelling flights to Lisbon for Benfica away next month."
Another wrote: "Flight to Lisbon for benfica Cancelled @Ryanair you Shit bags 😢"
RyanAir's flights from Manchester to Lisbon are thought to be unaffected by the cancellations.
