Reigning Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has opened up about his recent dip into the movie industry and filming a cameo for Zoolander 2.
The British driver has confirmed that he plays himself in a fashion-show scene for the movie, which stars Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller, who is also the director.
In his BBC Sport column, Hamilton wrote: "I had not met Ben Stiller before, but he came to meet me at home before the shoot and we stood and chatted for a bit, and then we hung around together on set, which was pretty cool."
The 30-year-old delved deeper into his hectic schedule by revealing that he jetted to Las Vegas to watch the fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao last Saturday, and then flew to New York City to attend the Met Ball.
"Sitting back now and talking about all this, it sounds kind of surreal, and often when I am doing it I have to pinch myself, but it felt a bit more normal this time around - I'm not quite sure why," he added.
Hamilton is currently preparing for this Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix with Mercedes.
