Mexico coach Miguel Herrera has been accused of punching a journalist while in Philadelphia airport.
Today, the 47-year-old was preparing for a flight out of the country after guiding his team to a 3-1 victory over Jamaica in the CONCACAF Gold Cup final on Sunday.
According to TV Azteca reporter David Medran, while taking an escalator to passport control, Herrera, who was with his daughter, lashed out at journalist Christian Martinoli, who is known for his critical views of the Mexican team and the coach.
Herrera is alleged to have swung for the reporter's face, but missed and caught his neck instead, while the coach's daughter has been accused of slapping Martinoli.
The Hidalgo-born coach became Mexico boss in 2013.
