Frank Lampard is hopeful that he and fiancee Christine Bleakley will be able to cope with a long-distance relationship when he moves to the United States this summer.
The former Chelsea and Manchester City midfielder will join up with MLS side New York City FC in July, but Bleakley will continue to honour her work commitments as a TV presenter in the UK.
"Christine has got bits on," Lampard said during an appearance on ITV's Loose Women. "She'll be backwards and forwards probably more than me. We are a couple that like to be together.
"We're not good at long distance for too long so we'll make it work. I'm actually back for two months over Christmas. We're just going to try and make it work and have fun along the way."
Lampard, who has two daughters from a previous relationship, has been engaged to Bleakley since 2011.
