Pavel Srnicek's "body is healing" after the former Newcastle United goalkeeper suffered a heart attack on Sunday, according to the 47-year-old's agent.
It was revealed on Monday that the Czech had suffered a cardiac arrest while running in his homeland and he was later rushed to Ostrava-Poruba hospital, who released a statement earlier this week.
Steve Wraith has revealed that his client "is healing", but also added that "there is a long, long way to go" for the former stopper, who is currently in an induced coma.
"His body is healing, however there is a long, long way to go. Wednesday is an important day. If they can perform the CT scan, we should know a lot more about his chances," BBC Sport quotes Wraith as saying.
Srnicek had been in Newcastle earlier this month promoting his new autobiography, before returning to his homeland for the Christmas break.
