Former Manchester City and England defender Danny Mills is reportedly involved in a consortiu who are in talks to buy the West Cornwall Pasty Company.
The 36-year-old, who has some experience in the kitchen following his stint on 2012's Celebrity Masterchef, retired from playing in 2009.
According to the Daily Mail, Mills is in talks with the company, who are struggling to meet rental payments at its 45 stores.
If the BBC pundit goes through with the purchase, he will join a long list of footballers and ex-professionals in the culinary business, including Manchester United trio Ryan Giggs, Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville.
