Judy Murray has expressed her gratitude towards her fans after losing her place in the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing lineup.
The 55-year-old, who is the mother of two-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray, was sent home by the judges after a dance-off against Casualty actress Sunetra Sarker.
Murray, who danced alongside professional partner Anton Du Beke, was widely mocked during the show, but managed to make it through the weeks to perform at Blackpool's Tower Ballroom at the weekend.
Today, Murray tweeted: "THANK YOU 4 all the lovely msjs + 4 keeping me in Strictly + allowing me 2 waltz with the King of Ballroom in Blackpool. Big big thrill :) x"
The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge, who is the wife of retired footballer Wayne, is a strong favourite to win the show.
