Michael Schumacher remains in a critical condition on Wednesday morning after spending a third night at the University Hospital of Grenoble.
The seven-time Formula 1 champion's condition is said to be improving, but he is still in intensive care following his skiing accident.
Since he hit his head on a rock and was airlifted off Meribel's slopes on Sunday, Schumacher has undergone two operations to release some of the pressure on his brain and have a dangerous haematoma removed.
The 44-year-old remains in a medically-induced coma.
