Queens Park Rangers defender Steven Caulker has been fined £1,000 after spouting verbal abuse at a doorman outside of a bar in Esher this March.
Guildford Crown Court heard that the 23-year-old was asked to leave the venue between midnight and 1am after paying the bill.
At the door of the bar, Caulker became aggressive and while there was no physical altercation between himself and the doorman, the footballer did direct a seven-minute abusive rant at Carl Evans, according to Get Surrey.
Prosecutor Gary Venturi told the court that Caulker used "vile" language towards the doorman, and Michael Borrelli, defending, insisted that the footballer, who is currently on loan at Southampton, is "extremely embarrassed" by the incident and regrets his actions.
