La Liga rivals Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo could reportedly play alongside one another in a potential All-Star game run by UEFA.
A multinational marketing company is believed to have proposed the notion of a one-off showdown between teams made up of clubs from around Europe.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, players from teams in the Premier League and the Bundesliga will form 'Team North' and 'Team South' will consist of players from the La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1, should the contest go ahead.
The publication reports that teams will be selected via an online vote and the match could be approved by UEFA president Michel Platini by 2017.
