Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has told rival Lionel Messi that his son "always" talks about the Barcelona forward.
The Portugal captain clinched his third Ballon d'Or trophy on Monday evening, beating Messi and Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Despite the long-standing rivalry between Ronaldo and Messi, it appears that Cristiano Jr is a fan of his father's opponent as the youngster ran up to greet the 27-year-old while backstage at the FIFA event in Zurich, Switzerland.
A video has emerged of Ronaldo telling Messi: "He's always watching videos of us and speaking about you."
Messi has four Ballon d'Or titles to his name.
