Roma will play their first home game in Serie A next season with their Curva Sud closed.
The Italian football authorities meted out their punishment on Monday for the team's ultras' behaviour during their league game against Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday that ended in a 2-1 win for the hosts.
A section of the ultras were heard shouting racist abuse at Napoli players despite the Roma players wearing anti-racism shirts before the game.
Roma were fined €50,000 (£42,500) for their supporters' racist abuse of AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli earlier this month.
