Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has been served a six-month driving ban after being caught speeding on two separate occasions.
The 31-year-old racked up a total of 21 points on his licence after initially being recorded driving at 69mph in a 40mph zone in March, and then a month later he was caught travelling at 70mph on another 40mph road.
The former Liverpool forward was fined £1,300 by magistrates in Nuneaton, Warwickshire and given nine points on his licence.
Crouch was later ordered to pay £170 in costs as well as a £15 victim surcharge, which added another 12 points on his licence.
