International popstar Rihanna has confirmed that her 2016 'Anti World Tour' will include concerts at numerous British and Irish sporting venues.
The 27-year-old, who has sold 54 million albums and 210 million track downloads worldwide, will begin her stint in the United Kingdom at Coventry City's Ricoh Arena on June 14.
Further dates have been announced at the Cardiff City Stadium, Sunderland's Stadium of Light, the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Wembley Stadium, Hampden Park in Glasgow and the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester.
Speaking to the club's official website, Lancashire's chief executive Daniel Gidney said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming Rihanna to Emirates Old Trafford.
"Her concert follows on from last year's fantastic Foo Fighters gig which sold out within days. To have another world class musical act performing at our venue underlines our position as major player in attracting the very best artists to Manchester."
Tickets for the gigs go on sale to the general public on Thursday, December 3.
