Two members of the punk group Pussy Riot have reportedly been arrested by police in Sochi during the Winter Olympics 2014.
Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alekhina were released from jail in December after being convicted following a protest challenging the authority of President Vladimir Putin and the Russian Orthodox Church.
It is believed that the group arrived in the city to carry out a performance at the Winter Olympics, but were detained by the authorities while walking down the street.
According to The Guardian, Tolokonnikova said via telephone from a police station: "We were just walking around Sochi when they grabbed us. They told us we are suspected of theft. Of course there has been no theft."
The pair are said to have been arrested along with a group of activists and journalists.
