Jockey Ryan Mania has said that he is "feeling grand" after being taken to hospital following a fall at Hexham on Sunday.
The Scot, who rode the 66-1 outsider Auroras Encore to Grand National victory 24 hours earlier, fell off his horse during a race in Northumberland before he was airlifted to hospital.
The 23-year-old tweeted: "Thanks so much for all the messages. I'm grand. Staying in hospital to get another scan tomorrow then should be home."
Mania became the first Scottish rider to win the National in 117 years when he crossed the finish line on Saturday.
