Frankie Dettori made a winning start to Saturday afternoon at Royal Ascot by emerging victorious from the Chesham Stakes on board Tha'ir.
The Goldolphin-trained horse appeared to have too much to do within the closing stages of the race.
However, the Italian jockey managed to negotiate a route from the back of the pack to claim the victory by three lengths.
Cruck Realta came in second, while Lovely Pass rounded off the top three.
The 2/1 market leader Move To Strike was fourth after making good late progress.
