Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell has acknowledged that his side face a difficult task in overcoming an "outstanding" Leeds Rhinos outfit this evening.
The Fords, who are currently sixth in the Super League table, travel to Headingley looking to pick up a third win on the bounce.
An improvement in form offers Powell plenty of encouragement heading into the match, but Castleford must be at their best to halt the division's first side to have scored more than 500 points this term.
"They are an outstanding team with quality all over the field," the Yorkshire Evening Post quotes Powell as saying. "We have got to give ourselves a chance by being tough defensively.
"They will throw a lot at us, but hopefully we will be good enough to really challenge them.
"We're looking for a bit more consistency in games, but there's a toughness about us at the moment that I really like. I think we are looking good and we're in good form."
Leeds have failed to win back-to-back league games since mid-April.
