Catalans Dragons have survived a strong second-half performance from Hull FC to secure a 20-14 win in the Super League this afternoon.
The home side appeared to be in control at half time, with tries from Thomas Bosc, Tony Gigot and Greg Mounis putting the French side comfortably ahead.
Jordan Rankin had kept the visitors on level terms early on, sprinting over between the posts to cancel out Bosc's early effort, but the Dragons were too strong for the rest of the opening 40.
Mark Minichiello cut Catalans' lead to four shortly after the restart, breaking off two tackles before driving for the line.
However, a late Scott Dureau penalty kept the hosts ahead by a converted try, and Hull could not make the most of a string of late chances.
The result lifts Catalan up to seventh in the table, dropping their opponents to eighth.
