Huddersfield Giants have moved to the top of the Super League table with a 48-32 victory over Castleford Tigers.
It took until the 12th minute for Huddersfield to open the scoring courtesy of a try from Joe Wardle, before a Danny Brough goal moved the home side into a comfortable lead.
It proved to be a successful first period for Brough, who not only added his side's second try of the match, but added six goals in total.
Ben Blackmore (2), Aaron Murphy and Leroy Cudjoe also added to the scoring late in the half to move Huddersfield 30-0 ahead, but Michael Shenton did put Castleford on the board after 35 minutes.
It was a different story in the second period, however, with Kirk Dixon's four goals and tries from Justin Carney, Daryl Clark, Rangi Chase and Weller Hauraki leaving the score 36-28 with 10 minutes remaining.
The home side recovered in the latter stages, however, with Murphy and Kyle Wood extending their lead in the final moments, despite Richard Owen adding Castleford's sixth try late on.
