Hull FC slumped to their seventh defeat of the Super League season after losing 24-4 at home to Huddersfield Giants tonight.
The Giants boasted a commanding 16-0 lead at the break, with Danny Brough, Ukuma Ta'ai and Jamie Ellis all running in tries - the first two of which were converted.
Chances of a whitewash increased on the hour mark when Michael Lawrence made it 20-0, with the hosts struggling.
However, the clash did throw up a consolation try as Stephen Michaels's effort gave the home fans something to cheer about.
Nevertheless, Huddersfield had the last laugh when Jermaine McGillvary made it 24-4 to pile further misery on Hull.
