Huddersfield Giants scored a last-minute try to salvage a 22-22 draw against the Catalans Dragons on Super League's Magic Weekend at St James' Park.
After a slow start to the game, the Giants were the first to go over as Jodie Broughton broke through the Catalans defence.
Danny Brough added the conversion and scored two more goals before half time to give Huddersfield a 10-0 lead at the break.
The Broughton-Brough duo were at it again soon after half time to put the Giants 16 points to the good, but Catalans then came storming back.
The Dragons scored three unanswered tries through Eloi Pelissier, Todd Carney and Zeb Taia to take a two-point lead, with Scott Dureau converting all three.
With seven minutes to go, Carney was awarded a penalty try, but Dureau missed a simple conversion to leave the Dragons six in front.
That miss ended up costing Catalans as Jermaine McGillvary acrobatically went over in the corner in the final minute, and Brough held his nerve to split the posts from out wide to earn Huddersfield a point.
