Huddersfield Giants have confirmed the signing of Castleford Tigers half-back Jamie Ellis on a two-year deal.
Ellis, 24, has spent the past two years with the Tigers after joining the club from Hull FC.
"There is an opportunity to play at scrum-half, my favoured position," he told Huddersfield's official website. "Obviously my place isn't guaranteed. I'm going to come here, train hard and hopefully get my chance."
Meanwhile, Jack Miller and Peter Aspinall are to leave the Giants at the end of the season following the club's decision not to offer the duo contract extensions.
