Former Wakefield Wildcats coach James Webster has been appointed as interim head coach at Hull Kingston Rovers until the end of the season.
The ex-Hull KR captain will take over as head coach with immediate effect but will keep assistant coaches Willie Poching and David Hodgson for the rest of the 2016 season.
Webster was a player-coach during his first season playing for Hull KR back in 2005 and has recently been the coach of new academy team, the City of Hull Academy.
The club are looking for a long-term successor to Chris Chester for 2017 but Webster has been given the job of improving the club's season as they still look for their first win.
