Hull coach Peter Gentle has criticised the performance of the referee following his side's 28-20 defeat at home to Wigan Warriors in Super League.
The Black and Whites were narrowly beaten at the KC Stadium on Friday night as their unbeaten run of five matches came to an end.
"I am extremely disappointed with the way the game was refereed and I will have plenty of questions for [referees' chief] Steve Ganson this week," Gentle told Sky Sports News.
"I will have to choose my words very carefully, but everyone knows what they saw. I can't say what I saw. The boys tell me that their first try was a forward pass and that Josh Charnley didn't touch the ball down when he scored.
"I am proud of them but we're not happy to just get close to them. We're disappointed we didn't win but we have an improvement in us."
Hull continue their league campaign next Friday when they entertain London Broncos.
