Wigan Warriors have taken a 28-20 win over Hull FC in the Super League this evening.
Tries from Iain Thornley and Sam Tomkins put the visitors ahead early in the first half, but Tom Lineham and Ben Crooks pegged them back to reduce Wigan's lead to two points at the break.
Warriors quickly opened up a 14-point advantage in the second half, but Lineham added another two tries to complete his hat-trick and keep Hull in the game.
Two Pat Richards penalties inside the last 10 minutes helped extend the visitors' lead as the hosts continued to press hard for another try, but they were unable to increase their score late in the game.
The win leaves Wigan at the top of the Super League table.
