Hull FC have climbed to the top of the Super League table after the 36-6 routing of local rivals Hull Kingston Rovers.
It was the visitors who opened the scoring when Craig Hall latched on to a kick from Michael Dobson to touch down. Dobson then converted to give Hull KR a 6-0 lead.
The hosts were not behind for long however, and levelled the score when assistant coach Lee Radford, recalled to the depleted side, surged to the line.
The teams went in even at half time, but Hull FC overpowered their opponents in the second half.
Tries from Kirk Yeaman, Brett Seymour and a hat-trick from Jordan Turner saw the home side pile on 30 points without reply.
Danny Tickle converted all but one kick as he scored 12 points with the boot.
Huddersfield Giants could go top of the league later this afternoon with victory over Salford City Reds.
